🌍⚖️ December is Universal Human Rights Month ⚖️🌍
Everyone deserves to live in safety, access the care they need, and be treated with dignity, no matter who they are, where they come from, or what challenges they face. This December, we recognize Human Rights Month by standing with families across New Hampshire who are seeking support, stability, and justice.
At Connected Families NH, we believe that safe housing, mental health care, education, and freedom from violence are basic rights, not privileges. We’re here to help families access the resources they need without fear, shame, or stigma.
Connect with services that protect, support, and empower ALL New Hampshire families:
- NH DHHS — Access to housing, child protection, food assistance, and behavioral health programs.
- NH Commission for Human Rights — Investigates discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations.
- The Office of Health Access (OHA) — Assures equitable access to effective, quality DHHS programs and services across all populations, with specialized focus on breaking down barriers to care for vulnerable NH residents.
- NH Department of Justice – Civil Rights Unit — Enforces New Hampshire’s anti‑discrimination laws and investigates hate‑motivated acts in employment, housing, public accommodations and more.
- Human Rights Commission (Durham, NH) — Works to promote a welcoming, inclusive community by educating residents about their rights and addressing discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations.
Human rights begin at home, with safety, care, and opportunity. Connected Families NH is here to help protect them. Call us at (603) 555‑1234 to get connected.
