💚🌱 May is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month 🌱💚

During this month, we take time to recognize the importance of mental health for children. For young people, it’s a chance to feel seen, supported, and encouraged to express what they’re going through in healthy, meaningful ways.

Connected Families NH is proud to support initiatives that promote open conversations, reduce stigma, and connect families with the resources they need to navigate mental and behavioral health challenges with confidence.

👉 Find local support, tools for emotional wellness, and confidential help:

  • NAMI NH — Connect with free (non-crisis) NH mental health resources & support. Contact NAMI NH’s Info & Resource Line at 1-800-242-6264 (press 4) or info@NAMINH.org.
  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — 24/7 free, confidential support: Call or text 988
  • Monadnock Family Services — Provides comprehensive mental health and substance use services, including counseling, crisis support, and family-focused care.
  • West Central Behavioral Health — Offers a wide range of mental health services, including therapy, crisis support, and community-based programs to support individuals and families across the Upper Valley.
  • NH DHHS – Access statewide mental health services, support networks, and educational resources.
  • The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester — Offers counseling, psychiatric services, and community-based mental health supports for individuals and families in the Greater Manchester area

Mental health is part of every family’s story. Taking one step—asking a question, starting a conversation, reaching out—can make all the difference.
