<🌈 💛 June is Pride Month 💛🌈

During this month, we celebrate the strength, identity, and resilience of LGBTQ+ individuals and families. Pride Month is a time to honor progress, uplift voices, and recognize that every child, parent, and caregiver deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported exactly as they are.

Connected Families NH is proud to stand with families of all backgrounds and identities by promoting inclusion, connection, and access to affirming resources that help children and caregivers thrive.

Find support, education, and LGBTQ+ affirming resources:

  • PFLAG New Hampshire — Support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people, parents, families, and allies through local chapters and community programs.
  • The Trevor Project — 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ youth. Call 1-866-488-7386, text START to 678678, or use online chat support.
  • GLAAD — Resources, stories, and education that promote acceptance and understanding of LGBTQ+ communities.
  • NAMI NH — Mental health education, support groups, and family resources, including help navigating identity-related stress and emotional wellness. Contact 1-800-242-6264 (press 4) or info@NAMINH.org.
  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — Free, confidential emotional support available 24/7. Call or text 988.

Every family deserves to feel connected, respected, and supported. Sometimes the most meaningful step is simply showing up with love, listening, and acceptance.
